They will be releasing a new version of the Stargate SG-1 pilot episode, Children of the Gods, on DVD. Apparently it will be cleaned up (turned into a PG version, not the R rated version currently out) and new special effects will be added, scenes reworked, et cetera. Sounds good.

The premise of Stargate Universe is revealed! The newest show in the Stargate franchise is about an Ancient experiment that had two ships flying around planting Stargates on various planets throughout the galaxies, one that leaves the gates and one that checks up on the Stargates.
